For any of you that know me, you know I have a lot of bags and I like different purses and bags. In fact some of you have been known to go shopping for a purse in my purse supply.

This last week I decided that I needed another bag. I have been carrying around a lot of bags and purses lately. So I wanted to put all the stuff that I was carrying around into one bag so I wouldn't be carrying around a ton of different things. I went to four or five different stores in search of the perfect bag that I needed at this point in my life. I couldn't really find the right bag, the were either too big or too small. I finally settled on a bag that was close enough but I wasn't sold on it. Nevertheless, I dropped $30 for the bag.

So then I started cleaning out my room as part of my new year's clean on Saturday and look at what I found.

Seriously? That's a little ridiculous. And that isn't even all of the purses I own. I have a whole tupperware (large) in the basement full of bags/purses. The bags in this picture are for easy access when I want to switch out.

If you'll notice in the middle of the pile towards the back, there is a black bag that has a very similar pattern to the one I just purchased. There's one difference: it's the PERFECT SIZE!!!

Therefore I commit and promise to NOT BUY ANOTHER BAG OR PURSE in 2011.

Do you think I can do it? How's that for a new year's resolution??

Hahaha. Yeah I guess I know who to come to when I need to borrow a purse, eh? You gonna take the pink one back... or just add to your collection?

WOW! According to you bag stash you should be able to keep your resolution! I like the black one anyway. Maybe you should pull out your Tupperware full and look in there too :) Good luck

How is it that I didn't know this about you?! I had no idea you were a purse shopaholic. Shame on me. And you can do it. Any time you feel the urge to buy a new bag, call me and I'll talk you through it. (Or I can pass the phone to Melvin and you'll be cured shortly!) :)
